PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Our programs take into consideration the ages and the maturity and emotional make-up of the children.  Programs are re-evaluated to reflect changes within the Child Care and Early Years Act, and ideologies on early childhood education.

Stamford Green Day Nursery is staffed by early childhood educators who aim to create an environment stimulating to a child's social, mental, and physical development. Carefully planned programs include indoor and outdoor play, quiet times, group and individual activities.

OUR PROGRAM

Our program is dedicated to preparing children for their beginning in formal education at the Primary level. By offering a high caliber curriculum combined with an individualized, non-competitive approach to learning taught and overlooked by qualified elementary school teachers registered with the Ontario College of Teachers.

By offering a safe, and loving environment. We have the unique opportunity to create a positive learning environment, that not only focuses on students as a group, but as an individual. We do not believe in leaving behind the "difficult" child, because we feel that Every Child is capable of excelling with just the right amount of individual guidance.

Through play experiences integrated with literary-based "Learn to Read" and "Jolly Phonics" curriculum, your child will be exposed to situations that will stimulate:
